The new shopping mall FORUM SOFIA will be situated on the Ring Road, opposite Business Park Sofia in Malinova Dolina. The plans are to construct a big commercial center – a mall which will consist of commercial parts and areas for entertainment. The built-up area of the complex will be 170,000 sq.m. and the commercial areas will occupy around 88,000 sq.m. of this area. There will be about 200 commercial buildings within the complex including a big furniture shop, hypermarket, etc. The concept behind this commercial center is to construct various buildings which will form a unified commercial park with green alleys among the buildings. The buildings will be with unique architecture of Bulgarian traditional style resembling Rila Monastery. There will be several underground levels for parking. The completion of the project is planned for the end of 2009.
